From St. Francis (Athol Springs, NY): RED RAIDERS COMMIT TO COLLEGE

St. Francis High School football standouts Doug Worthington, Chris Smith, Joshua Bauman, Kevin Rautenstrauch, and baseball star Cory Barbeau made commitments to the college of their choice to continue their collegiate athletic careers at a signing ceremony held this morning in Alumni Hall on the school’s campus in Athol Springs, NY. All of these student athletes will receive scholarship grants, financial assistance or a combination of both to pursue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Worthington, who was sought by over 35 schools, signed a letter of intent to pursue his career at Ohio State University. His linemate, Chris Smith, decided on attending the College of the Holy Cross while Bauman will attend Baldwin Wallace College and Rautenstrauch has committed to Union College. Barbeau will pursue his baseball and scholastic career at Erskine College. |
